Membership Information

For New Applications:

The Chihuahua Club of America is the national breed club for breeder/exhibitors. We hold two specialty shows/meetings per year, one in Crystal Lake, Illinois in October, the other moves around the country in the Spring. We publish a newsletter, containing news and committee reports 4 times a year.

To become a CCA Member, you must complete the CCA New Member application, (available below), which must sent to the Membership Chair by US mail. If you need to have the application mailed to you, please provide your address to the Membership Chair below. You must be sponsored by two current members who have known you well for more than a year, and have themselves been a member of the Chihuahua Club of America for more than one year. Membership dues are $25.00 per year, plus a one time processing fee of $10.00.

Please be aware that the application review process can be a lengthy one depending upon the time of year you apply. Our Board votes four times a year on new applicants. Your completed application, two completed sponsor forms, and a signed Code of Ethics, together with your check for $35 payable to the Chihuahua Club of America should be sent to the Membership Chairperson.
